4th on Flagler 2019

4th on Flagler is on Thursday, July 4 from 5-10 p.m. There will be entertainment, including live music, activities for adults and kids, large and small games and so much more.

In advance of the firework show, which begins at 9 p.m., there will be a military honor ceremony, flag unfurl and the City’s Hometown Hero presentation.

MEYER AMPHITHEATRE

Chris Thomas Band ☆ 5:00 p.m.

The Chris Thomas Band is an 18-piece ensemble, who specialize in the performance of vintage Sinatra and soulful Motown, as well as current popular songs custom arranged for a big band by its own band members. The band’s members are all professionally trained musicians from colleges and universities around the U.S., as well as the Army and Navy bands. Band lead Chris Thomas is an exciting and interactive entertainer, fashioned in the way of the great performers of years gone by. The Chris Thomas Band is bringing that music back, bigger and better than ever before, to this year’s 4th on Flagler.

In addition to entertaining guests, the band will also provide the music for the 4th on Flagler’s annual Military Honor Ceremony.


 Military Honor Ceremony  8:30 p.m.

Join us for this annual tradition as the City of West Palm Beach recognizes the armed services of the United States as well as their reserves and associated organizations through a moving musical tribute.  The ceremony includes the honoring of our 2019 Hometown Hero, the presentation of the colors by West Palm Beach Fire Rescue and Police Honor Guards, the singing of our National Anthem, and the playing of taps to honor our fallen heroes.

Nikki Lickstein ☆ 5:00 p.m.

18-year-old Singer-Songwriter and Multi-Instrumentalist, Nikki Lickstein, is best known for her sincere and fearless approach to music. Nikki’s lyrics- paired with bright, infectious melodies- are sweet, yet purposeful, and serve as a true testament to her fierce individuality.
Nikki’s first original, internationally launched single, “Ex-Crush,” spent 2 months at #1 on XRP Radio’s Top 40 and remained in the same Top 40 for 3 consecutive months. Between this, a standing nomination for an American Songwriters Award in the Teen Category, and her Second-Place title in the association’s Top 40 Songs competition, “Nikki Lickstein” is sure to be a household name.


Tim Charron ☆ 7:30 p.m.

Tim Charron is a country rock recording artist that currently divides his time between Nashville and Florida. Charron currently has three albums out, the latest, Chasing The Sun, was recorded with country mega star Jason Aldean’s band. He considers his music to be “Country Rock with a Twist of Lime.” Some of his greatest influences are musical greats like John Mellencamp, Bruce Springsteen, Kenny Chesney, Eric Church and Nirvana. However, one of the greatest influences on his life (and in his music) has come from Mother Nature herself, the beach.
