Jacksonville Music Students to Get Scholarship From Michael Jackson

Michael Jackson is still giving back to the world even after his death.

Following his concert in Jacksonville, Florida in 1984, the King of Pop gave $100,000 to the city of Jacksonville in music scholarship money.

Jacksonville hasn’t touched the money in over 30 years and interest has accrued to the amount of $173,600.

The city will now use $5,500 of projected interest in the fiscal year and will distribute the scholarship money through the Kids Hope Alliance.

Have you or someone you know, left money in an account and forgot about it? How much was it and how long had it been left?
