While the YouTube sensation has recently added platinum plaques to her growing list of impressive accolades, Naija is still working hard to deliver more music to her dedicated fans.  In fact, she's got a new single, entitled "Away from You," in the works.

"'Away From You,' it's really different from 'Karma,' the 23-year-old tells ABC Radio. "'Karma' is more like a heartbreak song. 'Away from You' is, like, more upbeat."

Naija added: "[It's] still about love because I write all about love but in a positive way, more in a positive way."

Late last month, “Karma” became Naija's second song to ascend to the top of the urban adult contemporary radio chart, following “Medicine,” which also appears on her eponymous EP. The latter also topped the Billboard Adult R&B Songs chart for five weeks.

While its been nearly a year since Naija's self-titled EP was released, fans can rest assured that she's got a full-length project on the way.

"I'm working on a whole album right now," the singer confirmed. "But, I still have to feed my supporters. So, I wanted to put something out there that they can vibe to."

In the meantime, Naija is slated to perform next month in Los Angeles for the BET-curated Ladies (U)nite! show, taking place on June 20.
